I love Food Safari in Malaysia Safari one

Malaysia is  smorgasbord of most of any Asian food and Arabic food.  Typical malaysian food with lots of meat, fish and vegetable cooking.   Nyonya food, Chinese, Taiwanese,Korean Arabic, Indian, Pakistan, Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, kopi tiam and so on...
There are flood of food courts and full of variety.

Not just variety but also the style they cook are unique, too.

Every year I see many restaurants near by  my friend's place and what amaze me is an improvement of the quality.
Of course some restaurants  betray us in taste, but we keep trying to find something new and good.

Fish head

Mum"s food

I introduce many foods here including sweets, people may think I eat those foods all the time.                As a Jiriki navigator (Self movement healing), I follow my master's teaching about intake of the food.  I attended 3 days raw food seminar at Makino,Japan , the result was so fantastic.
My digestive system collapsed at one stage of my life, and I was struggling to get it right.
Since I started Jiriki, my health has came good.

I want to see how my body will change by keeping raw food diet for a while.

I am not a vegetarian or vegan but naturally I am not into meat so much.

But you know, I enjoy eating good stuffs , so why not having those mum's home cooking when I
can have!!!!!  Every food I had were so delicious and  thus Japanese cuisine is No. 1 for me...

Lots of seafood and spring veges.

Oton Shokudoo

Sitting in front of the screen, I am thinking of which photos of my holiday do I put on.
How I feel this morning after a surf which is first time in 4 weeks?...Yes of course " food", hum hum.
body warming food...Ra~men lah!!
Last year a friend from Sapporo mailed me a magazine is called "HO".  They had a special edition of  noodles, most of them were about Ramen. And this restaurant was on the cover page that has struck me.
The restaurant opened in 1955 as Kobato Shokudoo and it became a relaxing eating place for coal mine           labours .  The interior we see in the restaurant are from that era... TV, sawing machine, school chairs and desks,  toys and radios, so on...

Ramen stock are made of vegetable, chicken and pork , and Shoyu(Soy) ramen soup is their only flavor.  Located in Kuriyama, Iwamizawa.

Soup is not salty neither heavy ,and has strong yet mild taste,
Pork belly chaashuu (right) is simmered for 7 hours ,
cannot hold by chopsticks, it is so melty

My third home country...

I'd say Malaysia is my third home country because I have a friend whom I consider her as my family member.  Her search for the food is brilliant, so she can take me to the different places every time.                            From the  local outside food court up to the fancy elegant restaurant, we indulge our tongues.

I introduce Japan and Malaysia this time because I stopped over at KL both ways .
They have very different culture, religion, tradition and food but our search for the good taste  will never  stop.  TQ my friends!
* I am learning Manglish(Malaysian English), TQ means Thank you.

They serve contemporary food and south african food

Joe from South Africa

Smoked salmon, very good texture and taste

Muscle sauteed with butter,   oh la la~ delicious

We came here just for drinks so we had small snacks but next time we will dine here.

Spring, Summer,Autumn and Winter...which season do you like most?
When you are asked, do you think of the season of a country where you are living ??

Now my mind is in Japan so thinking of the seasons of Nippon.
This time I was in Sapporo in May,the first time in long long years.  I was so excited to see the cherry blossoms.  It is hard to answer my most favourite season.. Japan has distinctive characters in each
seasons...Its nature and of course its food, too.

If I was in Sapporo in Winter time, would it be my favourite season? ( I doubt it ha ha..)
I still haven't answer the question but it is fine not to...because it is not a matter of yes or no, black or white and good or bad.   " A virtue of Grey(between white and black) "is more acceptable in Japan.
Here! Enjoy the virtue of Pink.
