Eating in Otaru

'Otaru city is now an international city to attract domestic and foreign tourists.

The last time when I visited Otaru was , ohhhhh 23year ago,  I guess.

I won't talk about the sightseeing in Otaru, some Otaru site tells you how to walk and what to see.

Anyway I show you here the foods we had today after surfing.

The most famous soft cream shop in Otaru for over 30years.  These vanilla soft creams are regular

size and ¥260, the shop has 4 different size. Regular size is the smallest.

Otaru is famous for Japanese-Chinese style special fried noodle. Jidaiya serves seafood(prawn &

Scalop) , for the taste , selection of the English mustard ,homemade special chili vinegar or

special homemade chili miso sauce. ¥850

Otaru beer was founded in1995. I bought few beers to take away.

FUGOPPE surfing and historical sites (フゴッペ サーフィンと史跡)

The first autumn surfing  was at Fugoppe, near Otaru.

When we paddled in, the wave was small but managed to surf but one hour later the wind picked up so strong.

The temperature was around 19.5c

There are historical sites around here, one is Fugoppe Cave and the other one is

Nishisakiyama stone circle.   In a cave they found approximately 800 engravings dated back to

1-5AD century.

Flying over Japan with Malaysia Airlines

Even after two recent accidents , I am still a big fun of Malaysia airlines.

One of the reason is the variety of the special meal request, and this time I noticed that they changed

to a new menu for all category. 

 

Asian vege.meal is now Nasi lemak,it is quit hot but much much better than Air Asia Nasi lemak.

Spring has come to Bronte

My super drink after surfing

Cold early morning surfing takes my energy out so much.

This is my super drink , it is more like a food than a drink.

Organic kale, organic broccoli , Banana, avocado, strawberry, lecithin, LSA meal,
organic spirulina powder, coconut water and water.

I don't add any sweetener , no honey, no syrup, no any sugar but it tastes fantastic.

And should not be too thick , otherwise it gets too heavy in a stomach.

Surfing season in Phuket begin in May, although the wave is small and wind effected, the good thing is
there no need to have a battle for taking waves.

It is relaxing and when you say ohh it is crowded, you may see 5 people around you.

Lui cha and Nasi Kandar

Have to have these foods in KL because no restaurants serve these foods in Sydney.

Lui cha in Simple life is so delicious , specially the green soup's taste is one of the best.

Around the lunch time, this restaurant is filled up, so I always get here before 11am.

Nasi Kandar is a typical eating place,  the good thing is you can choose whatever you want more or less depends on how you are hungry.

Staying next to KLCC

After Phuket my friend went to Chaing Mai and I flew to Sapporo for one week and

we joined again here in KL.   Staying Le Apple Boutique Hotel is very convenient, just one min.

from KLCC and the subway.  Also to go to KL Sentral to catch the airport transfer, is subway line takes

us directly.

I love Sapporo

My experience to fly with Air Asia from Bangkok to Sapporo was very comfortable.

Among a half full of the passengers, there were only 3 Japanese and the rest were Thai national.

6 days stay is not enough but I was content to know that it made my family feel happy.

Sapporo is very clean city, lots of space, no skyscrapers, full of yummy foods and no rainy season.

July is one of the best season in Sapporo.

Kamala Beach Phuket

This beach is very relaxing, no hassle, no loud noise, and it is ideal for people who want to have

a quiet time.  The hotel I am staying is just I front of the surf break.  The waves aren't big but

It is good enough to enjoy.  All the good set waves are for me!

I never felt such a powerful spot energy in Blue Mountains 1- magical blue light mist-

 I felt as if my body floated in the air and very warm energy was coming from inside.

I was surrounded by feeling of happiness and lightness and the only words I could say was

" This is incredible....."  

Everything I saw in front of me was like ... covered with the curtain made by a mist.

VIVID SYDNEY CRUISE by Whale Watching Speed Boat

This is terrific!!   The speed boat has 20 seats ( the roof of course )and one complimentary drink.

Wines and  rolling and rocking on the boat made us so pleasant during 1.5 hrs cruise.
