trip to NORTH-chasing the surf and the summer North NSW & QLD 4
trip to NORTH-chasing the surf and the summer North NSW & QLD 3
Iluka is a small town 18km off Pacific highway. My favourite beach town for surfing, the beach needs
NE or SE of over 2m swell. Once I had a magnificent surfing here with dolphins.
Such a small town but it is cozy to walk around and has kind of everything---bakery, funky shop( clothes, lamps, spiritual goods, cards and ceramics ),hair dresser (as you see above)
, caravan park, boat harbour, fish market, fruit shop, cafe, hand-made shop owns by the elderly community, etc.....
Iluka sounds a bit unusual, for a Japanese specially, I guess. If you pronounce this i-lu-ka not ailuka
,it means Dolphin in Japanese!

One hour time difference between NSW and QLD is bit tricky but I was in QLD for 30 mins. so it wasn't bad. First thing in the early morning, we all wanted be in a water so we drove to Cabarita Beach.
Surf was big enough to have fun surf and also blue ocean and blue sky attracted us instantly.
Getting out of the city is fantastic, feel much more freedom and space in my head.
Seeing and Viewing the different scenery to what you see every day are refreshing. Yes very cool...

Weather a la carte
We can make an amazing story about the weather each single day.
They had a hail storm yesterday in Blue Mountains, 100km north-west of Sydney.
I was there when the hail hit the ground. Amazing! because it is like we have four seasons in one day.
We cannot avoid what the nature gives us...

City in rainy night
There are no days without rain.
On a harbour the rain does an amazing effect.
Reflection of lights sparks in the air and on the water.
It is beautiful,indeed.
Because there are no tall huge neon lamp signs in Sydney, Opera house and Harbour bridge stand out in a night sky.
Is that an essence of yin and yang ?, I think so...

Misty Blue Mountains
Hide away to the mountains is very different feeling relaxation to the ocean. Surrounded by the various green colours is like putting on the green outfits one by one. I love it.
I still love to be in the water even in the mountains. Dip in a crystal clear creek or swim in the river or sit cross legs under the waterfall. Even scoop the dew drops from the leaves and place them in my palm.
Misty blue mountains in the rain and out of the rain.
Feel the crispy but moist air all over you,
Shower of the mist, a whispering of the angels.

After three days of drenching rain
Thanks for la nina , we don't need to be on the restriction of water consumption.
North to north-west of N.S.W. have the worst flood in 35 years. It is devastating to watch the area and the people are effected by the flood. What can I say about it..
This year Sydney hasn't had a real summer, so much rain and lower temperature tend us to go to the cinema than the beaches.
I hear that Japan has a cold winter and lots of snow. In China the volcano erupted and the ash muds
slided into the dam. I am not wondering about these natural disaster, these natural catastrophe will
occur more this year as they predict. But don't be scared.
I feel happy to see the plants, the flowers and the nature again around me after the rain rain rain.
